Tribeca
New York in Hook & Ladder 8 Firehouse GhostBusters movie filming location. You have the Firehouse exterior used in the movie Ghostbusters in 1984, located at 14 North Moore Street in Tribeca.
The interiors were shot in L.A. but the scenes where the car comes out of the Firehouse were filmed here.
In the sidewalk, they have the logo of the Ghostbusters it makes easier to confirm this is the location when you get there.
Taylor Swift lives near this Firehouse in Franklin Street and JFK Junior used to lived in the other side of the street. We can say it’s a neighborhood with so much history going on.
Flatiron District
Where the Faltiron iconic building is, you have Madison Square park, named after James Madison 4th President of the United States and 23rd Street in New York.
The Flatiron building features in the movie Spider man. From Madison Square Park you can see the Empire State Building which is featured in King Kong Movie and many other movies as well.

The Empire State Building was finished at May 1, 1931 at the beginning of the great depression, so they had a hard time filling it.
The New York Times named it “The Empty Building” and it wasn’t until King Kong came out, two years later, that people got interested in the Empire State building and the office space started to get filled.
Today is one of the most photographed buildings in the world.

In Madison square Park scenes where shot for movies like “I am Legend”, “Pose”, “Spider man”, “Reds” and many others.
Madison Square Park has a statue of William H. Sewar, who was the secretary of State under Abraham Lincoln.
On the day Abraham Lincoln was assassinated, at 14 April 1865 in Ford Theater in Washington D.C., there was an attempt on the life of William H. Sewar as well.
The assassin wasn’t able to get his shot off so instead stabbed him on his face repeatedly and William H. Sewar got with the scars for the rest of his life because he survived.

Greenwich Village
That’s where Cindy Lauper shot “girls just wanna have fin” Video clip. A lot of celebrities live or have a place in Greenwich Village. Mark Zuckerberg has a place here, Sarah Jessica Parker also. It’s very expensive place to live.
A few steps away from Waverly PL is the “Friends” apartment exterior, most of the interior scenes are shot in L.A.
Grand Central
So many iconic big budget movies were filmed in Grand Central Station, the movie “The Avengers” was filmed outside Grand Central and “Superman” (1978)
The New York Public Library.
The New York Public Library been also featured in many movies and TV shows, Ghostbusters has a scene here.
The movie “Sex in the City”, “Spoiler Alert” (2009) in the wedding scene, Spider man movie when Peter Parker gets dropped of by his uncle, right before his uncle gets killed were filmed here.
